@mackenzieprice Thank you for creating the kind of environment where this growth can happen. We feel just as honored to be part of Alpha and so grateful for all of you. ❤️
While I was in Alpha School in Austin, I made this movie trailer using AI!
It was really cool seeing how AI could take an idea and turn it into something that actually feels like a real movie trailer. Definitely one of the coolest projects I’ve worked on.
@AC_923_@Alphaschool I had the chance to watch the final movie trailers, and I was so impressed by what you all created in only four afternoons, especially knowing this was something new for most of you. Your trailer turned out so well, Abi! 👏👏👏
Last month, my daughter attended an Alpha High School immersion in Austin. In only four afternoons, the students created AI-generated movie trailers, music videos, and products, most for the first time. I was so impressed by their final projects.
@jayakach28@AC_923_ 👏👏 Three tries makes the result even better. It seems you all kept adjusting until you figured out that everyone needed to be heard. That is an important lesson in teamwork. I’m not sure I could reach the summit, but I would want your team with me! 😊
@Luca_8082 Glad you learned something new about you today! Taking time to reflect can teach us a lot about ourselves. And the hump day GIF made me laugh 😂
@Borezzai 👏👏Teamwork and learning how to receive feedback may not sound as exciting as building a billion-dollar company, but they are skills that can help turn a big idea into something real. Keep building, learning, and sharing your journey!
This is great question for parents.
Here is my answer 👇
I wish we'd been taught “must-have” life skills in school when I was growing up—especially public speaking and financial literacy. I wish I could have learned at my own pace and had a customized learning plan too.
what if kids don’t actually hate school… they just hate the way they’re expected to learn?
most kids hear “school starts tomorrow” and immediately aren’t excited
but i’ve been at @AlphaSchool since 7th grade, and i actually WANT to go to school.
imagine no uniforms, no traditional teachers, and 1-on-1 coaching.
no asking a teacher to slow down because you’re lost while everyone else is ready to move on.
no sitting at a desk for hours just to go home and realize you have to teach yourself the lesson anyway.
at Alpha, i’ve learned how to learn MY way—when i’m most productive, what actually helps me understand something, and when i need to ask for help.
instead of everyone being expected to learn the exact same way, you figure out what works for you.
and after being here since 7th grade, i genuinely think school can be something you’re excited to go to.
so students: if you could change ONE thing about school, what would it be?
and parents: what’s one thing you wish was different about school when you were growing up?

What can failing Mount Everest teach you?
We did a Harvard simulation where we had to survive 7 days, reach the summit, and score 80% or higher.
Well.. we didn’t survive any attempt 😭
Each fail made us rethink our attempt and work better.
Failure can be the best feedback.
so apparently this is how i’m starting high school 😭
i’m 14 and for 8 weeks i’m doing 18 challenges to test how prepared i am for real life
some i’ll be good at… others we’ll see
AND i have to get this account to 1,000 followers by october 9th 😭
day 1. 999 to go
