@GarlicFryRy@SFGiants Buster Posey came into the job talking about "empowering" the scouts who have uncovered absolutely nothing during his tenure. There is no way he is humble enough to follow Kapler's lead.
@CurtisPashelka@justdelossantos Does Bericoto get to evaluate the MRI and decide whether he plays, a la Chapman and Adames, or does the medical and training staff make that decision?
@NCSTl_@EYDShow The Giants are a real estate concern and a jobs program for Buster's friends and their cronies. I don't know why fans would try to interfere with their project.
@NoCalSportsFan@NBCSGiants@Xfinity he's represented by CAA. Posey's former agent at CAA is one of his top advisors. When in doubt they go for their clients, Knizner too.
@WilliJohnnyTwo@hallofgoodpod 98 wRC+ vs. LHP for a lefty of his caliber and defensive skill is actually pretty great. Where's your source for an "every day role"?
@AdamesFan@PavlovicNBCS In this organization, the players make that call. Chapman played with a hernia for months. Posey has made it clear that players get to decide whether they are in the lineup or not.
@PavlovicNBCS The problem for him and the Giants, is that if he sits, it gives someone else the opportunity to show they are a better player and SS going forward. To save face, they must let him keep playing.
@sdricky760@ImNotHuman123 The best strategy for a team to get above the floor is to give as much money to the best player possible, not signing a bunch of declining vets to terrible contracts. Mid-level players get hurt just like in NBA.
