The Saturday matchday experience during the 1960s.
Amazing looking back on footage like this and seeing just how many of our matchday rituals have stayed the same.
@batcountry1980 Black Grape were such an unexpected sensation in โ95. Irresistibly catchy. They did T in the Park, no one having heard any of the songs yet. They start with this unknown tune Tramazi Party and by the second chorus they have everyone signing along, Welcome to the Party!
@OasisPodcast Good episode & chat! Got to disagree on the comments re Fade Away and Bring it on Down. Their place is the set seems obvious to me, they are definitive songs of early Oasis and I imagine the band love playing them. Theyโre there for the band and the diehards - they must stay! ๐
@MicrodotCreativ Hey Brian, look what I found! Original โShakermakerโ shirt, T in the Park โ94 edition! Ive been looking for it for ages, success at last. This must be mega-rare, what do you reckon? @oasis#Live25#TinthePark
@rennie_mjr@NeilDrysdale I remember 1991 very well, โ97 not so much. The sheer number of visitors this weekend (and still pouring in today) has been incredible, I think itโs magic. Just shows you, put stuff on - Spectra, Tall Ships, Cup Parade ๐๐ดโช๏ธ๐ and the people come out. Brilliant for Aberdeen.
MIDNIGHT RUN was released 35 years ago today. One of the best buddy comedies to come out of the 80s, its behind the scenes story was a cross-country thrill ride
