Band-aids don’t work. Sharing root cause health info. Not medical advice. Stretching, pain, gut health, hormones, toxins, nutrition. Functional Medicine.
@hubermanlab@sweatystartup 100%. Achieve the necessary mobility to squat, to deadlift etc. it’s not just about flexibility, but more so about active joint range of motion and motor control. Then learn to perform said movement correctly. Deadlifts are great.
@NoahRyanCo Does this app claim to have their own lab which runs all of these different analysis on products? Or are they spending the money to conduct all of the third-party testing?
Microplastics are a big problem and are everywhere!
94% of US tap water is contaminated with microplastics, and 93% of water bottles had microplastics in them.
Here is a close up image of a microplastic particle found in tap water
Not all probiotics are the same. Specific probiotic strains have been shown to have different benefits such as:
-Intestinal epithelial barrier health (gut lining)
-Mucous membrane health
-Normalization of bowel movements
-Normalization of bloating
-Normalization of peristalsis
-Autoimmune immunomodulation
-Inhibition of pathogenic overgrowth
-Inactivate microbial toxins
-Increase infection resistance
-Th1/Th2 immune cell modulation
-Staphylococci inhibition
-Gut-brain axis support
-GABA production
-Bone resorption inhibition
-E. coli inhibition
-Oxalate degradation
Big fan of fermented foods, but specific strains of probiotics for certain people can be a game changer.
@TheGregYang Mast Cell Activation and Histamine issues is usually a piece to the puzzle. Have you looked into this / started taking specific supplements to help?
EMFs are destroying your health -says health gurus.
EMFs are benign and not harmful to health - says health gurus.
What’s your take on EMFs and impacts on health?
Agree that it's far from definitive, but a biologically interesting signal. You know the deal with natural medicine, no funding, so we need to use the data signals that we have and include them/ interpret them with the larger body of evidence when making decisions. I wish there were lots of $$$ for these type of human trials, but until then......
Egg can help prevent candida overgrowth, specifically the candida biofilm which is the hardest to treat.
The graph below is from a study that showed that acetylcholine inhibits candida biofilm growth. The more acetylcholine, the greater the candida biofilm prevention
Bile is one of our gut’s built-in antimicrobial/fungal defences and choline in yolks is a key bile player. It helps keep certain bacteria and fungi in check. From the age of 3y up until recently, my son would eat 3-4 egg yolks a day, self healing from high gut candidiasis and bacterial overgrowth. He recently stopped craving eggs, parallel with the improvements of his healing journey.

Exact same setup overhere: rings and kettlebells. Can do a lot, but not everything. And working out in the sun are a big plus. The energy in the gym can't be duplicated though and when I do hit up the occasional gym session, my workout intensity is quite a bit higher. Same with you?
