This is totally 🔥🤯. A mammalian ortholog of bacterial SIRT2 proteins that mediate antiphage defense promotes TLR signaling by degrading NAD!! Oddly enough many TIR proteins are NADases but whether NADase activity contributes to mammalian TLR signaling has been 🤷🏻‍♂️ until now‼️
