@vascoabm@stripesupport I had a refunded payment with an early fraud warning that turned into a dispute anyway. Tried to handle it with Smart Disputes and lost 🫠
@digo_ws@NithurM@useplunk You can self-host Plunk using your own AWS SES. There are no fees or subscriptions if you do this, you just pay the raw SES pricing.
Plunk edges out on DX: modern TS/React stack, clean API-first design, fast setup for transactional + campaigns + automations on SES. Feels like a dev-friendly Resend alternative.
Listmonk (your past pick) is lighter and excellent for pure newsletters—simple Go app, quick config, minimal overhead.
Mautic is powerful for heavy automation/marketing but PHP-heavy with a steeper curve and more admin work.
For most dev workflows, Plunk is the sweet spot. What’s the third you’re thinking of?
@marcs_dev Some of my services got corrupted. They kept running but could no longer be managed through the UI.
The fix was to go into the server itself and run commands there which defeats the whole point of using such a tool.
Nothing specific but you could do something like this.
That would give you a list of everyone that hasn't opened an email in the last 30 days. Typically you would send people like that a last broadcast indicating that they will be unsubscribed.
After that you unsubscribe them and the list is cleaned. You need to do that every couple of months to keep it fresh though!
