Everyone's been talking about @justinbieber at Coachella 2026. Here's something you might not know: some of the visuals behind that performance were rendered on the Render Network by @CertainHouse_.

During the Foundation Updates talk at #RC2026, @rendernetwork Foundation board member Trevor Harries-Jones @drjonessf said three things that excite him about Dispersed are:
1. Running @Blender jobs on Dispersed nodes.
2. Generating Gaussian splats on Dispersed first, then in @OTOY Studio, and eventually natively inside Octane.
3. The wide range of use cases from various projects building on Dispersed.
.@AriEmanuel and @JulesUrbach kick off the keynote at #RenderCon2026 discussing the future of production.
Two key points from their talk:
1. The cost of production is coming down that means more content, more creators, more competition across streaming, short-form, and interactive formats.
2. IP is becoming the most important asset. Owning, digitizing, and controlling high-quality IP is the foundation of what comes next.
Our proposal to join @rendernetwork as a subnet has passed!
Payments and rewards are moving on-chain with $RENDER, bringing lower costs for customers and more flexibility for the Chefs who power our network.

Voting for RNP-023 is now live. As a reminder, this seeks to integrate Salad’s decentralized network of 60K GPUs to Render Network as an exclusive subnet.
We encourage all eligible participants to review the proposal and cast their vote before the vote ends March 30.

A web2 compute network @Salad_Chefs with 450k nodes and 60,000+ GPUs is proposing to integrate parts of its payments and rewards with @rendernetwork (RENDER) 🧵

New RNP-023 proposal: Salad → Render
- Exclusive subnet integration
- Payments & rewards in RENDER
- Large expansion: 60K GPUs, millions in revenue
- BME-driven token burns
We’re asking the community for feedback before the proposal moves to a vote.

Creating the show opening animation for @solana Breakpoint 2025 was incredible. The animation was 23000 x 8000px! Rendering that many frames at this scale would have been impossible to render with the timeline locally. Utilizing the @rendernetwork made it all possible.
Our Foundation Grants and Social Engagement Lead, @SunnyOsahn delivered our product keynote @SolanaConf a few hours ago, showing how the largest DePIN on Solana is growing:
Landmark immersive art, new AI-3D tools, and the launch of Dispersed AI compute network.
Rendering was just the beginning.
The future of creative compute starts now.
AI might not have a GPU shortage, just a high-end GPU shortage.
@rendernetwork 's Trevor Harries-Jones says 40% of global GPUs sit idle, and the next wave of AI scale may come from tapping that dormant capacity.
Decentralized inference → cheaper, faster, everywhere.
