@ealinglevy What makes you ask? In our work we had coordinators before we had directors but directors have multiplied. Nigerians love big titles and Executive Director is much appreciated.

@josephcumming@JohnPiper I guess the point people may make is that Jesus wasn't an *illegal* immigrant (because there weren't any such concepts or laws there and then). I have to suspect they were actually undocumented, though they'll have appeared on Caesar's tax-payers register in Bethlehem.
@unherd Yikes. A salutary read. Sounds like anyone mandating others to use a particular system should also have to try it and survive it. So many wrong and troubling things documented all in one article. What are the best human+tech ways of helping kids learn and thrive?

It opens with the journey from Jeromeโs Vulgate to Tyndaleโs translation.
Perhaps then the question comes back to us ordinary followers of Christ, to ask whether we really value the right fruit? Would we recognise true Godliness? How many of God's faithful servants would we rate highly? Jeremiah stuck in the mud? Paul eclipsed by 'super apostles'?
How do we choose who to listen to and allow to influence us? If they sign a Doctrinal Basis? That may have a role, if they are thoroughly honest, but perhaps looking at the fruit, the well assessed outcomes of their service and ministry is wiser, but takes time to see.
Jesus said, โBeware of the false prophets who come to you in sheepโs clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolvesโ (Mt. 7:15). They look like the sheep category and behave like the wolf category. Their accurate or orthodox words ARE the sheepโs clothing.
