This debate making abundantly clear that Biden’s insistence on running for another term - when 66% of voters in our swing state poll believe it’s likely he won’t be able to finish a second term - has gravely jeopardized Dems’ prospects to defeat Trump.

In light of the passing of homophobic legislation in Ghana, we cannot turn away from the US role in helping push violent policies forward.

The Biden Administration has started bombing Iraq and Syria, days after airstrikes on Yemen and after months of refusing to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. These decisions are driving more war and devastation.

We need #FeministPeace and #CeasefireNOW.

Peace depends on justice.

The policies we need are those rooted in care and healing — not violent retaliation.

The US government has a choice to make.

I am aware of a whole community who restricted their lives, voices, presence, identities, creativity. I catch glimpses of what could have been. I resent what was denied. I find joy in what a community marked in this way are able to do with their lives. A beautiful defiance.

We used to have a jackfruit tree that never produced fruit in all the years I knew until the day we dug the bomb shelter at its roots. After that, it started flowering and fruiting. I suppose I could describe it as a metaphor for my childhood..

Asian Americans allowing themselves to be used to scapegoat Black people & end Affirmative Action is particularly tragic given Asians were only able to immigrate to the United States b/c Black civil rights leaders passed immigration reform & demanded Asians receive equal access😐

Hi @deepigoyal @zomato, whatever your marketing team thought that they’re being smart/funny, unfortunately they’re being neither & only perpetuating harmful casteist stereotypes. Take this down, put out an apology & hire sensitivity experts. It’s just bad!

I'm not sure who was more disappointed this morning, the person who stole my Amazon package only to open it and find idli rava and sambar powder or me because now I have to wait two more days to have idli sambar.
