New preprint with @CamdenMacDowell on how information is passed from one brain region to another! We find interactions between brain regions are multiplexed, different dimensions of neural activity are shared with different cortex-wide networks of regions. https://t.co/YWZ9Hbgc1M
My first registered report (and paper!) "Examining the role of attention during feature binding in visuospatial working memory" with my amazing supervisors Nicholas Cooper and Vanessa Loaiza (@vmloaiza1) is now published: https://t.co/P8O7VTFmfR ๐

If you are interested in our paper and want to try out an example of our experiments follow this link ๐ https://t.co/HdDhoUDJ3A.
All of our materials (our experiments, analyses and data files) can be found on our OSF page ๐ https://t.co/aUZv49sdnk.

Contrary to our predictions, manipulating attentional resources did not increase (E1) or decrease (E2) binding errors BUT our findings suggest that attentional resources benefit target memory irrespective of the feature binding type.

Such a great honour, thank you ever so much! If you did not have the chance to visit my poster session, my poster and walk through video are available on the @ExpPsychSoc website: https://t.co/dwBJQL77gu
We are pleased to announce the winner of the Presidentโs Poster Commendation Prize for the 2023 EPS London meeting is David Goldenhaus-Manning (University of Essex), co-supervised by @vmloaiza1 and Dr Nicholas Cooper.
Congratulations @DTGM01!

Interested in feature binding and attention? Check out our poster (#2039) tomorrow at @Psychonomic_Soc. Across two experiments, we examined the role of attention during feature binding ๐.
Congratulations to Hiu Cheung (University of Essex), recipient of the Psychonomic Society's 2021 J. Frank Yates Student Conference Award. Make sure to check out Hiu's poster at #psynom21! https://t.co/7lKdzfo4yO @Uni_of_Essex
An article published in @NatureHumBehav today provides new evidence that Registered Reports are associated with greater rigor and research quality compared with the standard publishing format. https://t.co/1gJk4T21K5
Please RT: my lab has a salaried PhD student position available [https://t.co/bubAnLJusm]. This project will use 7T computational neuroimaging of human vision to study the interactions between action, perception, and memory.
