@DRINKforOZZIE @united UA 2448… just got off the plane 🎉 though we got to the gate and waited another 20 min for someone who could operate the jetway 😂
@united we landed in Newark nearly 90 minutes ago and haven’t heard a peep from anyone about a plan to get us off the plane. We’ve been on this plane for almost 8 hours already.
@united is hopelessly broken. things i see every week tell a story of an org that has completely lost control. no sign of an improvement plan; flight crews roll their eyes and commiserate with us freq fliers. 2/42 of my segments on time YTD; most >45 min delay. Just like today
@United is sorry for the inconvenience, but will make it up with great service… But not with the TVs on the back of the seats, they’re broken. And not with the in flight wi-fi or personal entertainment. They’re broken too.
UA1100 on time all day… changed aircraft throughout the day until the one they landed on was the one that would be late… inbound plane was stuck on the ground waiting to get to the gate for 30+ min (it was empty) 2/3
Then bigger delays; no communication. Finally, they said a seat was broken. A seat. Singular. Hundreds of millions of $, grounded for a broken seat. Finally started boarding an hour after we were supposed to depart.
Once deplaned and cleaned, we were treated to the @United special practice of gently serving 15 minute delays every 15 minutes for the next hour. No news, just delays.
@united sooo many failures on flight2333, there aren’t enough words. still haven’t left the gate. 3hrs later and the excuses range from dirty carpets that make a plane unfit to fly to ground crew having trouble communicating. zero news other than texts announcing new delays. #1k

@Starbucks brilliant piece of work... expiring my points during a global pandemic that has closed your stores... a uniquely cold hearted dose of empathy... cheers!
