Second leg of @esa trip gone! Managed to arrive near #barcelona where I had the privilege to say hello to one of my old friends with a sober background! And huge support from @vanerrina the almighty for this 13 hours drive!
Coming back to London after the #IMAP meeting at @LASPatCU . Feeling super #energised and looking forward to the launch! Did pretty good at the Pub Trivia too!
New paper alert! ๐จ

Aaand that was the final @H2020Serpentine seminar. I met excellent people doing excellent science thanks to this. And what a nice final meeting in sunny #Helsinki!
Just surfaced into the pub from the good old @MSSLSpacePlasma basement where the good old @NicolaouGeor treats me with @ESASolarOrbiter electron observations. Excited for the next efforts!
Boom! The largest solar flare of this solar cycle is currently in progress. An X8.8 from sunspot group 3664 just as it rotates off the disc. Complex solar radio bursts also detected by @LOFARIreland.
โฆ.aaand that is 100 shocks for the @ESASolarOrbiter shock list of the @H2020Serpentine project! Nice way for the Sun to close 2023 โ๏ธ.
Stat tuned for the paper looking at the shocks features!
Boring Sunday? You could read our latest paper on the funky properties of the closest to the Sun ever recorded shock using @ParkerSunProbe and @ESASolarOrbiter!
Also known as the #shockback project within and beyond the @H2020Serpentine consortium โก๏ธ https://t.co/VCeKFjMKoy
