@Paul__Walsh That any parent would even think abt giving their child/children MUSE is insane bordering abusive
You DO NOT want kids attaching to sycophantic AI.
That=impaired ability to form/manage human relationships & conflicts
Risks AI psychosis

Meta’s cuddly spy called Muse has exposed private conversations by making links to shared chats publicly searchable. Predictable.
When someone shared a conversation, Meta created a web link with the title of that conversation. Those links ended up in publicly accessible records where strangers could find them.
Security firm Claroc discovered more than 6,800 shared conversations with a single search. Some contained sensitive personal and business information, including a loan application, a bank fraud alert and confidential company documents.
Anyone who found these links could open the conversations without a password or permission from the person who shared them.
Meta says it has suspended the sharing feature, but records of the exposed links remain publicly accessible.
💡 Meta should shut down this service. It’s riddled with security vulnerabilities and poses serious risks to everyone’s privacy, including people who don’t use it.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t use any of Meta’s products. If someone gives Muse access to their emails, messages or other private accounts, highly sensitive information about you could end up in Meta’s hands without your knowledge or consent.
If someone shares conversations you’ve had with them, or talks about you in messages Muse can access, Meta will learn who you know, what you’ve said, what you’re thinking, your emotional state and your personal vulnerabilities.
That kind of information is being used to build detailed profiles and social graphs about people who’ve never used Muse or agreed to share anything with Meta. You’d have no way of knowing what information had been collected about you or how it was being used.
And because Meta is a US company, information it holds is subject to demands from US authorities.
This is an extraordinary invasion of privacy, including the privacy of people who’ve never used the service.
RETENTION is becoming one of the BIGGEST problems for Meta's Muse.
According to data shared by Morgan Stanley, 73% of Muse users are active on Day 1, but by Day 14, that number collapses to just 23%. And what's even more concerning is that Instagram, Google, and Facebook are all showing significantly stronger retention over the same period. This tells us that while Meta might be attracting users initially, it's having a much harder time convincing those users to actually stick around. And as someone who used Muse HEAVILY when it first came out, I can tell you that compared to Grok, Muse is a complete JOKE. The experience simply isn't on the same level, and I think this highlights one of the BIGGEST challenges facing the entire AI agent industry right now. Think about it. What exactly is stopping someone from switching from Muse to Grok, ChatGPT, or another AI agent tomorrow? Absolutely NOTHING. There are very few switching costs and unless these companies can build products that become deeply integrated into people's daily routines, users are going to continue jumping between whichever platform offers the best experience.
And here's why this matters so much for Meta. We're talking about a company spending billions of dollars building AI infrastructure, training increasingly sophisticated models, and trying to establish itself as one of the leaders in artificial intelligence. But none of that matters nearly as much if consumers aren't actually using the products consistently. AI infrastructure is incredibly expensive and without sustained engagement, it's going to become increasingly difficult to justify the economics behind these investments. Getting people to download an application is the EASY part. Convincing them to come back every single day is where the real competitive advantage gets built. Now, I wouldn't completely write Meta off because the company still has one of the BIGGEST distribution advantages in the world through Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. It also has the financial resources to keep improving its models and products. But distribution alone doesn't guarantee retention, especially when consumers have so many alternatives available to them.

BREAKING: George W. Bush's brother Neil just dropped a BOMB on MAGA by proudly announcing that he voted for James Talarico in the Texas Senate race.
This just gave Republicans a flashing green light to vote blue...
"I have never posted a political message on Facebook not wanting to offend friends whose views may be very different than mine. I'm breaking that tradition because I voted early today, and I voted for James Talarico for the United States Senate," Bush, the child of the late President George H.W. Bush wrote on Facebook.
"My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character and principles I see in James Talarico," he continued.
"I have been deeply troubled by Paxton's conduct as Texas Attorney General, particularly his decision to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election in other states in an effort to help Donald Trump remain in power. I believe that effort was an affront to our democratic institutions and the peaceful transfer of power. My concerns about his judgment and conduct are hardly mine alone. He was impeached by the Republican-controlled Texas House, although subsequently acquitted by the Texas Senate."
"More broadly, I believe Donald Trump and those who have enabled him have done enormous damage to the Republican Party. I worry about a political culture in which loyalty to an individual takes precedence over loyalty to principle, and where those who hold power begin to believe they are no longer accountable."
"But my vote today was about much more than opposition to Ken Paxton."
"I've never met James Talarico, but I have been enormously impressed by the way he approaches complicated and controversial issues. He speaks with respect, seeks common ground, and seems genuinely interested in bringing people together rather than driving them apart. His faith appears to be a deeply rooted source of humility, compassion, and conviction rather than a political weapon."
I see in him the qualities I admire most in public servants: integrity, civility, humility, and a willingness to listen to those with whom he disagrees. My impression is that he is a principled, pragmatic leader who understands that public office is a responsibility to serve, not an entitlement to power."
"I have been a Republican for most of my life, and I still believe deeply in many traditional Republican principles. But character matters more than party affiliation. Our democracy depends on leaders who respect our institutions, tell the truth, accept accountability, and seek to unite rather than divide."
"Today, I voted against a style of politics that I believe has damaged our country. More importantly, I voted for the kind of character and leadership I hope will help heal it," he concluded.
Bravo, Mr. Bush! We commend you for speaking out boldly during these crucial midterm elections. Ken Paxton is a stone-cold crook who was impeached for bribery by his own party as state attorney general. He has zero interest in serving the people of Texas if he wins and will instead work to line his own pockets, accumulate personal power, and rubber-stamp Trump's destructive agenda.
Meanwhile, James Talarico is a devout Christian who is committed to fighting for better healthcare, an end to pointless wars, livable wages, more housing construction to restore the American Dream, and banning Congressional stock trading.
The Bush family still wields a great deal of influence in Texas, so this announcement is sure to cause political shockwaves. If you're a Republican who genuinely loves this country, it's time to cross the aisle and vote for James Talarico.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Neil Bush!

Japan and the US are running one of their largest drills near Taiwan. China showed up uninvited in the air, at sea, and 1,500 km away.
Keen Sword 27 (Oct 19–29) involves ~45,000 Japanese and ~12,000 US personnel, plus forces from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the Philippines. The focus is defending Japan’s southwest islands and rehearsing responses for a Taiwan contingency.
Japan is deploying its new long-range Type-25 missiles. The US put its NMESIS anti-ship launcher on Yonaguni Island, ~110 km from Taiwan.
On day one, Japan scrambled fighters after PLA reconnaissance drones (BZK-005 and TB-001) and a Y-9 intelligence aircraft flew through the Miyako Strait and past Yonaguni into the Pacific. Two Chinese spy ships, a destroyer, and a large support vessel also moved through nearby straits into the Pacific.
The next day, China’s Southern Theater Command said the USS Charleston “illegally intruded” near Sabina Shoal in the South China Sea and claimed it tracked the ship. The Philippines rejected that, saying no country can demand permission for lawful transit in international waters.
While the US and its allies rehearse, Beijing makes sure everyone knows it’s watching.
The Americans Who Armed Ho Chi Minh’s Fighters
“Welcome to our American Friends.”
An English banner greeted American operatives at a jungle camp in Vietnam.
They had arrived by parachute to arm and train its guerrillas.
The camp belonged to Ho Chi Minh’s Viet Minh.
It was July 1945.
The Americans belonged to the OSS, the wartime intelligence service that preceded the CIA.
Their unit was called the Deer Team.
Ho was seriously ill.
Medic Paul Hoagland treated him with quinine, sulfa drugs and other medicines.
Within about ten days, he was back on his feet.
The team chose 40 men from 110 recruits.
They taught them to fire rifles and carbines, throw grenades, and use mortars and bazookas.
The unit became the “Vietnamese-American Force.”
The Viet Minh’s military leader was Vo Nguyen Giap—the man who would later fight France and the United States.
For now, they had a common enemy: Japan.
The Americans needed intelligence on Japanese troops and help attacking their supply routes.
Ho’s network offered both access and local knowledge.
He had already helped a downed American pilot reach safety.
On 15 August, news of Japan’s surrender arrived.
Major Allison Thomas handed over most of the American weapons used in training to the Vietnamese force.
Three days later, an order reached him: return all OSS equipment to an American base in China.
By then, the Vietnamese-American Force was marching toward Hanoi.
The Americans were walking beside it.
On 2 September, Ho declared Vietnam’s independence.
He opened with words from the U.S. Declaration of Independence:
“All men are created equal.”
But the wartime cooperation brought no American recognition of his government.
His appeals to President Truman went unanswered.
In 1950, Washington authorized military aid to France, now fighting Ho’s forces.
Why did the United States end up financing a war against the movement its own operatives had helped?
Time to seriously talk about Elon’s deportation.
Elon’s brother on video said, they both were illegals. Elon was on a student visa, but didn’t go to college. Stanford, his acceptance university, doesn’t have any records of his enrollment. In those situations when a student visa is not followed, the individual gets deported. But not Elon. He illegally worked, overstayed his student visa, and broke American laws, until the startup company gave him some kinda work permit. If he was truthful in his naturalization application that he overstayed his student visa, and broke the immigration laws, he’d never would have been granted naturalization citizenship. His naturalization application must be pulled out, and the information there must be examined to see if Elon whether withheld crucial visa status information, or he lied. Either way, those are deportable offenses.
