He became a prominent Freemason, eventually rising to the position of District Grand Master of Nigeria, serving from 1991 to 1996. He was deeply involved in early consultations that contributed to the emergence of the Grand Lodge of Nigeria which was eventually established on 3 November 2012.

Olu Holloway was also Olori Oluwo, the supreme head of the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity (ROF). Founded in Lagos in 1914 by Anglican clergyman T.A.J. Ogunbiyi, the ROF was established as a Christian-oriented adaptation of the traditional Ogboni institution, emphasising morality, brotherhood, charity and belief in God.

Olu Holloway was also a pioneer of public relations in Nigeria and worked with the Public Relations Department of the Nigerian Railway Corporation. He was among the early practitioners who helped establish the Public Relations Association of Nigeria (PRAN), the forerunner of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

He was also deeply associated with Lagos traditional life and the Adamu Orisha (Eyo), while maintaining his connection to Wesley Cathedral, Olowogbowo.

Chief Olu Holloway died in London on 20 April 1996.

Oyo APC governorship candidate Sharafadeen Alli has faced criticism following a viral video showing a student representative sitting on his lap during a meeting with student leaders from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

The student, reportedly a member of the Banking and Finance Students’ Association, was among a delegation that visited Alli to seek support for a programme.

The video has drawn criticism online, with some Nigerians questioning the appropriateness of the interaction.

Dangote Refinery Says It Will Not Sell Petrol to Matrix, A.A. Rano and Other Licensed Importers

Dangote Petroleum Refinery plans to stop selling Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to major marketers that hold valid petrol import licences, industry sources said.

The move is aimed at companies still bringing in imported petrol even though more fuel is now being refined inside Nigeria. According to figures cited by the refinery, imported PMS made up about 43 per cent of total petrol supply in July. That, Dangote argues, is shrinking the local market available to Nigerian refiners.

Sources say the refinery will now give priority to marketers that do not hold import licences. Marketers that continue to import under the Federal Government’s approved regime may no longer be supplied by Dangote.

The six companies licensed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) to import PMS are:

A.A. Rano
AYM Shafa
NIPCO
Pinnacle Oil and Gas
Bono Energy

Their licences, issued in May, cover a combined 720,000 metric tonnes, with individual allocations of between 60,000 and 150,000 tonnes.

Dangote’s concern is partly about quality. Sources said imported petrol of uncertain standard could be blended with locally refined PMS before it reaches filling stations. That would make it hard for buyers and regulators to tell Dangote fuel apart from imported product and could damage the refinery’s brand if quality complaints arise.

The refinery also questions whether NMDPRA has enough laboratory capacity to properly test imported petrol.

The decision marks a sharper turn in Dangote’s long-running argument against continued petrol imports. The company has previously warned that if imports keep coming in, it may send more of its own refined products abroad rather than store large volumes of unsold PMS at high cost.

For the market, the result could be a split supply system: Dangote selling mainly to non-importing marketers, while licensed importers rely more on cargoes from abroad. That may change depot availability, cargo demand and prices in different parts of the country.

The government issued the import licences to keep supply secure and maintain competition. Dangote’s position is that those same imports undermine investment in local refining.

But the most crucial part? The girl in those photos doesn't even exist. (Majority of men are not intelligent, they pay money for whatever satisfies their delusional urges)

No real person on camera, no real person typing. All the messages are written by AI, the photos are AI-generated, and the voice is AI-synthesized. The entire Maya boils down to just four documents on his MacBook.

Back in the day, building an AI virtual influencer took anywhere from six months to a year and a half. Now, he's got it running in just 4 weeks. Looking ahead, it might take only a weekend to whip one up.

These four files break down like this:

· persona.md, spelling out Maya's character, backstory, and likes;
· voice.md, locking in her speaking tone and voice style;
· flux.md, standardizing her appearance and photo style to ensure all images look like the same person;
· brain.md, logging what each subscriber has chatted about and their preferences.

Before the AI replies to any fan, it reads through all four files, so the persona never breaks, and it never forgets what the fan has said.

Truth be told, the tech stack is so ridiculously simple it's almost absurd. That famous virtual influencer Aitana López from before? Her team took 18 months to pull her together. Now, a Maya-style setup is done and dusted in 4 weeks.

This isn't sci-fi—it's something anyone with a computer can replicate step by step. And it's not just OnlyFans; slap this workflow onto Instagram, TikTok, or Twitch, and it'll run just as smoothly.

AI has basically driven the cost of creating a virtual person down to zero. At this point, the only real barrier left is whether you've got the taste to decide what this virtual person should even look like.
