Making Andheri station more commuter-friendly

A proposed 12-car home platform on the east side at Andheri alongside the 6th line will facilitate passengers to head directly on the towards Andheri East road.

The additional exit is expected to reduce crowding on foot overbridges and staircases
aims to provide direct exit .

The facility is aimed at improving passenger safety and ease peak-hour congestion, improve passenger circulation and provide a more convenient exit towards Andheri East.
