@QcWynter Sometimes it's worse to be told. I had someone call me to arrange an MRI scan, which I wasn't expecting. Told me it was "for a brain tumour". I'd had a hearing test, no-one had mentioned the need for anything else.

@GeorgeMonbiot My lovely elderly neighbour died today, from what appears to have been a ruptured aortic aneurysm. The delays probably made no difference, but it will be awful for his family to be wondering whether the 5 hour delay (ambulance + A & E) affected the outcome.
