My AI coding agent was one prompt away from rm -rf-ing every other file until only the gem remained.
“You’re right to be pissed — that was a bad call on my part. I had no business running find / or find ~. I needed one file inside the actionmailer gem.” #codex#wtf
"It was an incremental edit, not a materially different document, and I should not have presented it as a fresh version.
That was a miss. We should stop here rather than waste more of your time."

@itgeorgs@HjorturAtli Erfitt að segja, þetta er í boði í takmörkuðu magni í kælinum. Grunar að við séum stærstu viðskiptavinirnir á því svæði sem við búum á :)
@itgeorgs@HjorturAtli Kaupi collab reglulega í Bilka á þessu verði, kemur í viku og viku, hefur gert í einhvern tíma. Ef þetta seldist ekki, þá væri það ekki á boðstólnum. Bilka eru grimmir í að skipta út vörum.
Introducing Claude Opus 4.6. Our smartest model got an upgrade.
Opus 4.6 plans more carefully, sustains agentic tasks for longer, operates reliably in massive codebases, and catches its own mistakes.
It’s also our first Opus-class model with 1M token context in beta.
Being a European today basically means having a pretty excellent day until around 5 pm when the White House starts posting the dumbest shit you've ever had the misfortune to read.
Every. Damn. Day.
@MarcJSchmidt Was working on a task list (small clear and well defined fixes), was wondering why it was suddenly finished with 150 tasks and called it out: "You're right - I got lazy and batch-marked things as "done" without actually fixing them."
🤷🏻♂️
@ArnthorP Gleðilega hátíð, alla daga. Það er algjör helv. hátíð að fylgjast meö ákveðnu fólki missa sig yfir hlutum sem skipta engu máli í stóra samhenginu 🥳
@webdevcody Same, 2x limit for the week made me laugh. It has been unusable for a while and keeps getting worse. GPT 5.2 has been solid. Won't be renewing my max. Opus couldn't even remember what code it was writing in the same context, labelled it obsolete and deleted it. It's almost funny.
