If even a decorated Major General like Rabe Abubakar-kidnapped by bandits alongside his wife-cannot be rescued by the Tinubu government, then the common man has zero hope, zero protection, and zero value in the eyes of this incompetent, negligent administration. The utter failure of the government to secure the release of one of Nigeria's own retired senior officers exposes a shocking level of weakness, indifference, and outright incompetence that borders on criminal abandonment of its citizens.
Tragically, Major General Rabe Abubakar has been reportedly killed in the hands of his captors. This is a damning indictment of a government that talks tough on security but delivers nothing but excuses while bandits run wild. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his death haunt those in power who failed him and countless other innocent Nigerians.
