Always proud to spotlight thriving #Rwanda-n youth🎉✨
In @GatsiboDistrict, @RwandaEast, Valens Ruhorimbere turned pumpkins🎃 into opportunity, by founding Iwacu Bakery Ltd.
With support from the #VIBEProgramme, implemeted by Pro-Femmes/Twese Hamwe with @TradeMarkAfrica, @ITCnews & @MastercardFn, the bakery now produces 1,200 loaves daily, supplies schools & NGOs, and runs its own selling point in Kabarore.

Beyond bread🍞, Iwacu Bakery empowers farmers from Gatsibo and @NyagatareDistr, including cooperatives, and has created 24 full-time jobs, including 15 for women.

The Value added Initiative to Boost Employment #VIBEProgramme is powering #YoungAfricaWorks in #Rwanda!
Implemented by @ProfemmesTH with @TradeMarkAfrica, @ITCnews, and the @MastercardFdn, VIBE supports women- and youth-led MSMEs in domestic and cross-border trade across horticulture, poultry, meat, and dairy, boosting value addition, standards compliance, and access to markets.
🎯 Target: 20,000 MSMEs
👩🏾‍🌾 Goal: 14,250 dignified and fulfilling work for youth (18–35).
