.@GabeforColorado@jeff4colorado This is your last chance to reject the harmful BBB and choose to prioritize the health and wellbeing of Coloradans over the richest individuals and corporations. We will all suffer if this bill passes. Please vote NO on this disastrous bill.
With such a sharp increase in family homelessness in CO, a statewide plan to address homelessness is more important than ever. Thank you to @MannyRutinel and @Velasco4CO for prioritizing addressing homelessness this upcoming #coleg session. #copolitics

HB24-1175 will preserve affordable housing in our state. I'd like to thank @EnterpriseNow and @COCoalition for their dedication to this policy and my fellow sponsors, @EmilyForCO, @FaithWinterCO, and @sonyajlewis. Their hard work will keep people housed.
It is HOT in Colorado and the heat wave is expected to last throughout the weekend. Extreme heat poses health risks to all Coloradans, but for people experiencing homelessness, the risk is even greater. Here are some ways that you can help your neighbors who are unsheltered. 🧵

Happy Sine Die, it’s the last day of the legislative session in Colorado!
Thank you for advocating with us, and thank you to the partners who worked with us this session and the legislators who championed bills to better housing and healthcare. #coleg
HB24-1332 PASSED THE HOUSE! 🎉
By determining the feasibility of an 1115 waiver, HB24-1332 will allow CO to fund housing and nutrition services through Medicaid. Thank you for championing this bill through its first chamber, @ShannonBird4CO and @KyleBrownHD12! #coleg#copolitics
Local Governments need more tools to maintain and preserve current affordable housing and right of first refusal can be just that. Don't we want housing that was funded with taxpayer dollars to stay affordable?
