Environment Considered

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

TypeScript library authors on their 4th beer, head in their hand knowing damn well the amount of “bun check failure” issues about to hit them.

[Bun @bunjavascript]

Some of the language changes when TypeScript types become real (with ahead-of-time compilation)

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@polydaic @matthew_d_green They’ll even publish a paper on what went wrong too.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

I had to write this 4 times.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

For the people who think they can’t do it anymore. Please don’t stop trying. Honestly I think you are the type of person to make the biggest difference in the world because you understand so many things that brought you here. You are worthy and needed, no doubt. Please.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@shivon Much respect to you.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@pmcafrica Leon catching strays

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@cornelisse0 @cianlus @rfleury @ankkala The way it was framed didn’t make it seem like he has anything to do with it. But I get you.

From clothing to global KV microseconds, they can do it all!

[Brendan Irvine-Broque @irvinebroque]

we have this crazy key-value store at Cloudflare called Quicksilver

instantly updates keys across our whole network. microsecond reads from every location. stupid fast

our customers have asked us for years to make it available

we finally did – in a way we think is quite simple - as a new mode for Workers KV

Workers KV Instant

@onceagaintoni @rfleury @ankkala I’m not gonna argue with you about that. My language has been compromised.. but that has nothing to do with what I’m trying to get at.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

I think I may have found the secret sauce of this online place:

- See a random thing that you want to say something about.
- say something, especially how wrong the other somethings that have been said are.
- Get shown more somethings.
- *I don’t care about these topics*
- Hell

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@cianlus @rfleury @ankkala Yeah but I mean, just link it? For those that don’t know.

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@ankkala @rfleury Thank you for amending the statement

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@rfleury @ankkala The better approach would have been to link the MIT codebase in your statement? I and many others believe you, but why not solidify the statement from ground 0?

[Eckhardt @eckischeffer]

@darthnugget @kitlangton @thdxr Just a little far
