Apple settles a lawsuit and must pay owners of certain iPhones $95 refunds

This comes after Apple heavily promoted Apple Intelligence, including enhanced Siri capabilities and didn’t deliver

Here’s who qualifies for payouts

US purchasers of these devices bought between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025:

- All iPhone 16 models (including 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max)
- iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max

This covers roughly 36–37 million devices.
Payouts:

- Base roughly $25 per eligible device
- Could rise to up to $95 per device if fewer people claim (or lower if many do)

The settlement is going through final court approval. Once approved, affected buyers will be notified by email or mail
