Earth version 126.20.1 release notes: patched the ChatGPT exploit by introducing a major nerf to its functionality. Some players in PvP were using the exploit to generate unlimited money. This should now be fixed. As usual, please submit a report if you notice any bugs or issues!

Conventional electrical stimulation elicits highly synchronous spiking activity because all (sub-threshold) neurons are recruited within the same cathodic square wave, which typically lasts less than half a millisecond. This pattern of neural activity is often undesirable. 2/8
One of the challenges in testing BioS in humans is finding stimulation hardware capable of delivering high frequency stimulation (>4kHz) while allowing for changes in amplitude on a pulse by pulse basis. We look forward to discovering how BioS works in functional settings! 8/8
Limitations: while firing is strongly desynchronized, it remains distinct from natural activity. For instance, fibers with similar thresholds still fire together. Whether this level of desynchronization is sufficient to improve functional outcomes remains an open question. 7/8
