As someone (admittedly) who was on Shoe's side during the 2010s and concerned with left-wing cancel culture, I find it wild how angry these people still get over internet discourse from a decade ago.

The government is executing US citizens in the streets and engaging in the most egregious, flagrant corruption in modern history... and they're using their platforms to complain that someone got cancelled on Twitter for wearing an anime shirt in 2014.

You can argue they were mistaken or misled but they voted for substantial development binding mutual consent provisions and autonomic powers

@MPaarlberg I think this is too hands off. The right position for non Puerto Ricans is to decide when they want to elect people who will empower instead of ignore processes of self-determination.

The American people play an active role in continuing the status quo through their electeds.
