I can't help but feel like @landondonovan is splitting hairs in order to weave a narrative here. And I'm not going stand by and let other people combover this tweet without adding my piece.
Do we play in an NFL stadium on a rug? Sure.
Do we want Bob Kraft toupee more for players? Of course.
But to say we don't have history...
What do you want, for the league to relocate the club and transplant us somewhere else?
We're an MLS original club and as American as a bald eagle. We're authentically us and we won't change for anyone. What you see is what you get.

@BostonTBA@SoxSigns Same. I'm all for some of the banter, but it's kinda critical that the listeners actually know what's going on in the game. It drives me nuts.
@SoxSigns@BostonTBA It's kinda critical that you actually explain what's happening in the game when you're doing radio work... Someone may want to tell him that.
A lot to be proud of tonight. We did a lot of what we wanted, especially holding them in the 60s. Felt like the hook and hold flagrant was the turning point we never recovered from. So many missed layups. And of course the uneven foul situation. Credit to Michigan for sinking all of them.
Michigan was a great team but it was a gettable game. Bummer but proud of the moments we got from this tournament.
Between the refs and the commentary, this was a really tough watch. Stark, stark, reminder of where UConn falls in the media landscape. More talk about the Big 10 drought than UConn going for 3 in 4.
"I love Illinois in this game. I think their size is gonna bother Connecticut. And I'll be honest with you. I don't think it's gonna be a close game.
I think @IlliniMBB is gonna beat em pretty good."
- Charles Barkley on the Illinois-UConn matchup
A wise man once said “UConn is the only blue blood the NCAA never wanted”. No one was ever supposed to surpass the accomplishments of the old guard, and UConn has done it in a mere 27 years. Making those programs our bitch along the way. And they hate us for it
