At the Founding, States heavily relied on Bible reading in their schools. Until the ACLU stepped in, no one doubted this was constitutional.
If the Bible, from which the Constitution's heritage originated, is so terrible, opt out.

Will the Catholic or Protestant Bible be used?
What happens when another religion such as Islam takes over certain school boards. Will the Quran also be taught?

@RonDeSantis No it would not. They took the case up on both the statutory and constitutional questions, and can choose not to decide the constitutional one. Judicial restraint would even require them to avoid the constitutional question.
@scotus_wire All conviction-based lifetime firearm bans are unconstitutional. Finding a sufficiently relevant historical analogue is basically impossible.
