@davidfrum I fear the GOP will do this for UKR aide but I am very surprised they’re gonna try it w/ ISR aide. I can’t see a majority voting of voters wanting this aide held up. And, I would expect evangelical conservatives to also object to any strings attached to ISR aide.

@joshtpm This seems like bad politics for the GOP. I can’t imagine the majority of voters wanting there to be strings attached to aide to Israel in the wake of the hamas attacks. I can’t see conservative evangelicals in favor of it either.
