I did post a few weeks ago that from the feel of models it seems gpt 5.5 is very close to optimum and opus felt far. This meant it had more space to learn, meaning quite easily the architecture design of Anthropic can surpass current architecture of gpt 5.5. They did it it seems.

It seems the tables have turned. Now, Claude Opus is for the review and Codex is the implementation workhorse.
