@redheadbeaver@MrHoosier_@GopherHole Definitely didn’t rush the court in the 2000s when I was there. The uproar was enough. I agree that the court rush seems unnecessary.
@direcrap@jonfavs@sunrisemvmt Dems have repeatedly shown they are not willing to actually fight for anything. The whole point is that we need people and policies that actually DO something. Not this tired rhetoric that the PSA boys espouse.
@MinkahBurgh39@itchbot200@all_swoosh@spoonlocks@cheefcg This is a much different statement than saying they are boring and other people are dumb for liking them which is what it seems like you’re arguing in all the other threads. Just accept that other people do really love those sports and move on.
@MinkahBurgh39@itchbot200@all_swoosh@spoonlocks@cheefcg Physicality is also much more aggressive in football as well. They may push and shove and bring each other down in American football, but it’s still not as intense from a physicality standpoint.
@MinkahBurgh39@itchbot200@all_swoosh@spoonlocks@cheefcg There’s a wildly popular sport already called football. What should we base the name of our sport on? Hmm…how about how long the ball is! Just an absolute insane argument.
@itchbot200@MinkahBurgh39@all_swoosh@spoonlocks@cheefcg I actually grew up loving American football and especially the NFL. Eventually I made some friends who were premier league fans as I was getting sick of NFL stance on head injuries, domestic abuse, etc. Switched over, found a team, and can tell you it’s so much more exciting.
