@Feargal_Sharkey @Jamie_Woodward_ @AffinityWater Not only in the affinity region, but across the country water usage needs to fall drastically to protect waterways, habitats and ensure there will be enough for future needs. Streams and rivers will be even more under threat if we aren't all more careful with it.

@magwitchery @Feargal_Sharkey This is exactly what their campaign is about. Each household needs to use a lot less. Consumption in the affinity region is the highest in England, so everyone use less and they can cut abstraction.

With changing climate comes heavier rains that will/do lead to flooding in urban areas, which garden trends like this exacerbate.
