US Navy SEAL divers spent four months clearing Iranian mines from the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Financial Times.

SEAL divers worked at night from inflatable-hulled boats with help from underwater crafts to remove the mines.

"That is usually followed up by a navy diver who’s got to get in the water and approach the mine, and then put a charge on it and destroy it," said retired US Navy captain Bill Hamblet to the outlet.

"It is an extremely time-consuming process. They are doing, essentially, active bomb detonation underwater," associate fellow at Chatham House Nitya Labh said.

Here’s an example of watching Trump practicing something called New Thought in public.

New Thought is the idea that spoken thought shapes and bends reality.

You don’t wait and hope for what you want when practicing New Thought. Rather, you name it and act like it’s already true.

Trump grew up internalizing this doctrine in Norman Vincent Peale’s church.

He’s basically been practicing affirmations in public regarding the Iran war. At times he’s said we’ve already won the war. Now he’s saying we will win the war—and that when we do gas will fall to $3 then under $2.

View this as a command to the universe. He’s using public affirmations to take the country toward the future he wants.

My beautiful Mom took her last breaths minutes after I arrived at 5pm yesterday. Surrounded by her six daughters, she left on her terms.

She began the day like most lately, but told my sister “something changed” overnight, though she was not sure what (ever the RN, nursing herself). She said she preferred to stay in bed.

In the afternoon she was still talking, visitors at assisted living coming in to gently tell her they loved her, her responding with a reassuring “I am well”.

She waited until I got there. I got to give her a kiss. I held her hand, and she did one quick grasp of my hand, looked away, and started slipping away.

We were able to pray over her as she left. We could not have asked for anything more. She deserved the peaceful transition, never feeling any pain. Her body just did what it had to do to release her.

I am beyond grateful to God for such an amazing woman, role model, mother, grandmother, friend. I’m sure Dad was right there.

Now we ponder the moments, their meaning, give thanks for the gift of her life.
