@AskPlayStation Had a power outage which cut power to my PS5. It wouldn't turn on when my power came back. Tried unplugging it for 20 minutes and over night. When I plug my PS5 in it beeps 3 times, like it has no disc inside. When I hit the power button nothing happens. Help 🥺

@_mmarquss_ @ParlayJordan @AskPlayStation I figured it out for me! I work from home and anytime I would log onto my work VPN @PlayStation Network would ban my IP address. Try contacting your ISP (i.e. Verizon, Comcast) and have them give you a new IP address.

1/ @AskPlayStation I called PlayStation support today and found out that my error code ws-116417-0 is caused by a regional ban. I myself didn't do anything to violate PSN terms and conditions but they claim that there could be some kind of malware or threat on a server in my area

@ParlayJordan @AskPlayStation I also log into a VPN for work sometimes. I think my IP gets blocked after I do for some reason. I did get a new router and it it got me unblocked. I haven't signed into my work VPN on my home network since I did that.
