School acquired COVID is preventable
Work acquired COVID is preventable
The list goes on. Once it is finally acknowledged (repeatedly and consistently) by everyone that COVID is airborne, this becomes a FIXABLE PROBLEM. We have known how to stop the spread for 3 years!!
As school starts up again I would like to remind teachers you’re as vulnerable as everyone else, including your students.
Please forward to teachers to hopefully prevent more long Covid.
Baffling why so many don’t take any precautions. https://t.co/RjAId66305
Officially halfway through maternity leave (6wks).
How do women return to work at this point or even earlier???
My body is still healing.
Showers are rare, meals eaten cold, sleep not happening.
What we do to postpartum women in the US is insane & inhumane.
On May 24th, 2020 the New York Times declared the 100,000 who had so far died from COVID was "an incalculable loss"
In September 2020, we sent children back to mandatory in-person school expecting them to be immune to COVID
In January 2021, 100,000 died of COVID in one month
Let's put this into perspective. We have been dealing with a highly contagious virus for about three years. During this time, scientists have found a whole list of long term health impacts ranging from blood clots to infertility and many others. (1)
Scientific American, no less--COVID damage to brain, nerves, heart. How many more studies are needed that have come to the same conclusion for YEARS now before people understand the serious danger we are putting ourselves in without proper ventilation, regular testing, and masks?
Nearly 1 million pounds of vinyl chloride were on this train. Now, the EPA has confirmed it's entered the Ohio River basin which is home to 25 million people.
This is one of the deadliest environmental emergencies in decades and no one is talking about it.
Doctors and researchers are beginning to see connection between COVID surges and heart attacks. @ErinNBCNews and Senior Medical Correspondent for @NBCNews@DrJohnTorres share more.
If you thought we were overreacting about the overturn of Roe let me present:
Abortion bills in Wyoming, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas. Some of these clearly prohibit IVF as we know it. All impact reproductive care and risk maternal life.
Your IVF docs have been warning of this.
Wow so let’s recap:
- PCR to enter with an access wristband tied to - result
- HEPA air cleaners in every room
- Possibly amped up ventilation
- UVGI/Far-UVC
- Masks at some events
Aka exactly what we have proposed for schools/conferences/workplaces. Because COVID is not over!
74% reduction in infection risk in Italian classrooms that had improved ventilation. There’s no excuse now, the data is confirming what the engineers have been screaming about for years now. Time to upgrade indoor air in every classroom.
"The pandemic is far from over."
Of course not. Why would it be over when doing the simple things that could substantially suppress suffering and death have largely been abandoned? It was never rocket science, folks. Just a lack of will.

It’s time for adults to pay down the pandemic debt that we owe our kids. Wear a mask😷– a good one, and properly – in crowded public places: @globeandmail editorial https://t.co/CiElasRr1y #COVID19
