The NYSE advance/decline line hit an all-time high yesterday. This is one of the broadest baskets of stocks out there and history tells us that breadth leads price.
Most major tops see breadth peak well ahead of price. Yet another clue this bull is alive and well.

Very well stated. Sounds like RJ optimism. And genuine ! Only it's a matter of time now Manu g. Markets also would be firing on all cylinders. Let's wait n watch.
I keep wondering, quite genuinely, why the bloody market keeps sliding when everything’s firing on all cylinders.
Economy growing at a solid 8+%,
Inflation is below 3% - (massage the numbers a bit and it will perhaps be negative)
We’re the 4th largest economy in the world and likely to be the largest by 2080
Mutual funds are flush with the entire savings committed by the middle class.
SIPs are regular - like it’s a religion
We keep saying we don’t even need the FIIs to hold us up anymore.
Above all ......
India's economy is so robust that it will always command a premium over its global peers.
Which is exactly why I suspect it’ll snap back to all-time highs soon enough. Nifty at 30,000 before Diwali or rather 32,000 by New Year, while we’re at it.

@Barchart The correlation between U.S. 30Y Treasuries and S&P 500 has been at this levels for most of the 90's. This was a period of strong equity returns.
With equities still near highs, rising yields may reflect adjustment to a higher inflation regime, not necessarily equity stress.
