This might sound pedantic but it’s actually important. “Britain” didn’t do that, a composer (Sir David Wilcox) and a choir and organist and band did that. And if you ever want it to happen again, you have to keep funding arts tuition in schools.

Big shout out to the Tube platform assistants at Victoria just now. Of course they were just doing their job, but it’s only when there is someone who might require assistance (eg a vision-impaired person) that you get to see how utterly amazing and kind @TfL staff are. Legends ❤️
