All great points Jack! In addition, his paragraph on the spinout, "Unlike typical stocks, Next Bridge shares wouldn’t be eligible for electronic transfer at the clearinghouse that settles U.S. stock trades. The restriction was an unusual, deliberate move by Meta Materials that would effectively make the new shares untradeable. Insiders such as former Torchlight CEO Brda cheered the maneuver as a way to punish short sellers." is factually inaccurate and should be retracted.
He was made aware by me and George with Wes on the phone in my case that the SEC in conversations with META counsel advised on the structure and how to handle the spinout. His take is trying to define a narrative that does not exist. Should be retracted.
Why did he not ask questions of the professionals we hired to evaluate the Oro? This reeks of a narrative that was orchestrated to distract.
Dear @WSJ
Your article about $MMTLP says "people who bought into the short-squeeze thesis and spent no time valuing the underlying assets"
You dispute the idea about widespread naked shorting.
Did you even look at naked shorting in this specific stock?
Clearly this is a biased hit-piece, timed just before a congressional investigation into FINRA about MMTLP
Instead of a short hedge fund manager's valuation of MMTLP, why didn't you interview the geologist - Masterson?
Very disappointed in your journalistic integrity & the quality of your article.

#FinraFraud Finra knew $MMTLP trading was gonna be wild. So they ignored their own guidance and stopped the game in 3rd quarter. Halted trading, screwed investors of making a choice with their own money. Who is protecting investors over hedge funds?

FINRA issued an official statement on 12/7 advising investors of $MMTLP that they can sell their positions up until Monday, Dec 12th. This morning, they halted all trading indefinitely trapping thousands of shareholders, with an estimated loss exceeding 1 billion. #finrafraud
