@OpenAI has (will) become a major government contractor. Not a bad move from a cash-flow perspective, given their ongoing challenges. I guess, ironically, this B2G move will get them closer to their original purpose. Interesting.
I donโt think โknowledge acquisitionโ is the right framework for evaluating a college degree. Most people arenโt paying primarily for the content โ theyโre paying for the credential signal, the peer group, the network, the mentorship, and the formative experience.
Books can be an amazing substitute for learning, but they donโt replicate the institutional stamp, the structured environment, or the social/ professional upside. Itโs a bit like saying golf practice replaces fitness: you may get some overlap, but itโs not the same product.
Your mental framework is poor.
@NYCMayor@ZohranKMamdani@grok what are the actual powers vested into the mayorโs office? From what perspective can they be used detrimentally to the cityโs economic wellbeing?
Ironic how LLMs, built on language, mostly skip integrating into the worldโs top messaging apps where billions converse daily: WhatsApp (3B+ MAU), Telegram (1B+), iMessage (est. 1B). Massive opportunity to meet users there, capture real convo data, and turbocharge training! @grok should lead this. Thoughts, @elonmusk? #AI #xAI
