Investment is so difficult because it requires you to be good at 4 things.

a) broad knowledge (history, culture, sectors) and deep knowledge (economic theories, companies, finances, market landscape, job/career relevance)

b) sharp analytical skills (weight information or assigning probability outcomes, financial, key metrics, understanding specific businesses, products)

c) psychological strong (self-aware of your own emotion to be bias - confirmation, recency, survival bias, fight the greedy urge, scare urge, and process information analytically, sustain drawdowns)

d) risks taking (you may have a+b+c, but without d, you cannot make money. after all of it, the future outcome is undeterministic/chaotic and out of your control. You have to take some risks for future outcomes.

🚨 Elon just nuked the entire media playbook in under 90 seconds.

Journalist: “You support the far-right!”

Elon: “No. You support the lunatic left.

What was completely normal 10-15 years ago is now called ‘far-right’…

because your side went completely insane.”

Safe cities. Secure borders. Biological reality. Common sense.

None of that is “far-right.”

It’s just not crazy.

The Overton window didn’t shift right.

The left sprinted off a cliff and started calling everyone who didn’t jump “extremists.”

Elon said it out loud.

And the media still can’t cope.

Lunatic left.

He’s 100% right.

@fejau_inc Canada has a good team, I've seen a lot of quality football and Jonathan David + Stephen Eustáquio have been the standout for me so far from Canada. Best of luck next, but it's only getting harder from here.
