@iiAmTHATperson@candrson@topherfarley@astrog1rll ๐ i doubt it was abusive but just interesting how the years we "don't remember" form our subconscious - the place we operate from majority of the time
@smolmoru@mossyfrogge@WoodedGhost@erica_rosie agreed. if i start my day on tiktok, twitter, youtube, etc. my ability to produce dopamine for normal tasks is WAY worse. i try & dopamine detox in the mornings & it helps. so many days have been wasted thanks to poor self-regulation. i'm the only one that can help myself tho
@smolmoru@mossyfrogge@WoodedGhost@erica_rosie haha those stopped by the 60's for the most part. also couldn't find any sources but i get what you're trying to say.
i think it must have been easier to avoid overstimulation tho pre-social media/endless consumption of content era but idk just a theory
@erica_rosie ppl acting like this isn't a generational thing & blaming it on adhd. i'm sure ppl had adhd before technology existed- and still were forced to do tasks this way... idk - it's possible for anyone to do this w practice ๐
