7/27/23, #PFD crews were dispatched to a #TechnicalRescueOperation in Louisville. 3 workers trapped in an elevator 5 stories up were successfully rescued despite extreme dust + heat conditions. Fire Chief Gottsch recently commended the members of the rescue team for their exceptional performance in a small ceremony at the fire station.
Recognized were Acting Battalion Chief Tom Abe, Captain Clayton Kulhanek, FAE Todd Grosse, and FFs Ryan Bosshart and Hailey Olson.
