I was born in Canada and have lived here my entire life.
I'm a third generation Canadian on my mum's side, and fourth on my dad's side.
I am very proud to be Canadian. There is no other place on Earth I'd rather be ❤️🇨🇦❤️
After 9 years… and 3 BILLION miles… this is what we found 😳
For decades, Pluto was just a blurry dot in the sky.
But everything changed when NASA’s spacecraft finally arrived…
🚀 After an incredible journey across the Solar System,
we got our first close-up look at Pluto’s frozen world ❄️
🏔️ Massive ice mountains
🌌 Vast frozen plains
🌫️ A thin, mysterious atmosphere
This isn’t just a rock…
it’s a complex, active world at the edge of our Solar System.
✨ And the craziest part?
This data was sent back from billions of miles away…
taking hours just to reach Earth.
From a tiny dot… to a breathtaking world.
That’s the power of space exploration 🚀

Today marks 205 years of Greek independence. I was grateful to stand in solidarity with Greek Orthodox New Yorkers at the Divine Liturgy, commemorating this triumph of self-determination.
From Athens to Astoria, we are reminded that true freedom is the ability to live without fear and shape our own futures. That is the autonomy we are fighting to secure for every single New Yorker.
In the words of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, let us march with deep gratitude for the sacrifices that have made our lives possible.

To celebrate the birthday of William Shakespeare, I’m sharing a few lines from my most favorite sonnet, Sonnet 116. I’ve converted a few of my friends to its cause, and I’m hoping you’re next. Cheers!
You can hear the entire collection in “Patrick Stewart Performs the Complete Sonnets of William Shakespeare” available now: https://t.co/q5wEcT7vj2

Happy birthday to George Takei. Cool fact: After being imprisoned in U.S. internment camps as a child during WWII, Takei turned that painful experience into a lifelong mission, using storytelling and activism to educate others and promote justice.
These four astronauts are currently on a mission to fly around the Moon—and soon they'll break the record for how far humans have traveled from Earth!

🚨: After 48 years of travel, NASA 's Voyager 1 is nearing one light-day from Earth, almost 16 billion miles away.
A proud milestone for humanity, and a humbling reminder of how small we are in an infinite universe.
BREAKING: Music legend Sir Rod Stewart tears into "draft dodger" Trump over his despicable remarks insulting the sacrifices of the British soldiers and other NATO troops who died in Afghanistan.
The icon really didn't hold back...
“I may just be a humble rock star. I’m also a knight of the realm and I have my opinions,” said Stewart in a video posted to Instagram. "I was born just after [World War II] and I have great respect for our armed forces that fought and gave us our freedom so it hurts me badly, deeply, when I read that draft dodger Trump has criticized our troops in Afghanistan for not being on the front line."
"We lost over four hundred of our guys. Think of their parents. Think about it. And Trump calls them almost like cowards," he continued. "It's unbearable. So I'm calling on you Prime Minister Starmer and [Nigel] Farage, please make the draft dodger Trump apologize. Please."
Stewart ended his video with a salute, driving home the message. It comes amidst a wave of widespread backlash from our British friends across the pond after Trump unleashed a jaw-droppingly offensive rant at Davos.
“We’ve never needed them," Trump said of our NATO allies. "We have never really asked anything of them. You know, they’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan, or this or that. And they did – they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines."
In reality, the United States invoked Article 5 of the NATO charter after the terror attacks of 9/11 and our allies bravely answered the call, sending their sons and daughters to fight and die beside Americans in Afghanistan. It's utterly reprehensible that Trump, a pampered coward who faked bone spurs to avoid the Vietnam War, would attack the memory of real heroes.
Prime Minister Starmer addressed the remarks, calling them "insulting and frankly appalling" but stopped short of demanding an outright apology. He should do so immediately. While Trump will, of course, refuse to apologize because he's a pigheaded sociopath who's incapable of empathy, that doesn't mean we should let this slide. By demanding an apology, we force him to double down on his shameful comments and keep the story in the headlines.
Please ❤️ and share to demand an apology from Trump!
In 1969, 32-year-old Margaret Hamilton led the team that wrote the onboard software for Apollo 11. With just 72 KB of memory and punch-card programming, her code had to be https://t.co/0yUoOCL4fG was. Minutes before touchdown, the Apollo Guidance Computer triggered overload alarms. Hamilton’s built-in error-detection and priority system instantly shed non-critical tasks, keeping the lunar module on course. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed safely because her software refused to fail.Hamilton didn’t just help put humans on the Moon—she coined the term “software engineering” and invented many of the resilient coding practices we still use today. A pioneering woman in STEM who literally wrote the code that changed history.
Very nice to have Mike Myers and Dave Foley stop by the booth before tonight's game.
Mike even played the organ with Jimmy Holmstrom!

You watched World War II movies and sided with Freedom over Fascism .
You watched Star Trek and sided with diversity, inclusion and moral leadership over xenophobia, racism and leadership demonstrating obvious moral turpitude. You watched Elon Musk when he was a Democrat, before he sided with financial self-interest and became a font of election disinformation . When it's fiction you understand . Yet, when a candidate promises to be a dictator, you plan to vote for authoritarian rule over the the freedoms that our Constitution guarantees all of us, not just billionaire super-pac assh*les. #vote
