Some people think if you're ever seen with a distasteful type of person, you're guilty by association, automatically influenced due to that connection. Not true.

@jonharris1989 Born & raised in NYC, worked there all my life. It's the epitome of an economic zone. The diversity 'problem' is not limited to race, but different cultures of the same color as well. Ever seen the movie Gangs of NY?
Even so, there's a unique people who can call it home.

@ImMeme0 Suffering for the progressive faith. Plenty of toxically empathetic people will resonate with her. Although I think they were right they should immediately arrest children, elderly & the obviously disabled. This is exactly what they want- a picture of supposed cruelty.

@Vicar1973 Although I agree with everything in this post, a difficulty I see is the perception of disrespect where none is intended leading to over-correction and hurt feelings. Flowing from that observation, there's subjective & culture induced elements of disrespect. Communication is key

@ZacharyGarris Shedd was more Augustinian in philosophical approach. I think that makes a difference, not that the former and Thomism are mutually exclusive. It's about a habitat that better supports certain doctrines.
