@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews what is happening with the e2 this evening? Waiting at stop 2041 for over 45 minutes...3 busses supposted to show up according to the app and never did. Over 90-year old woman waiting over an hour twenty for an e2, unacceptable, even if short staffed
Also giving a talk in the infection forum tomorrow…. Although we are in UCDs main campus in Ireland and not this new one in the UK…😉 #Microbio25@MicrobioSoc
@Aircoach leaving people further down the n11 with no easy connection to the airport now. I'm now going from an easy walk to the aircoach stop to having to get a dublin bus to another aircoach stop. Who's to say there's even space to get on dublin bus with my suitcases.
@TFIupdates why did an E2 with about 10 people on it blow past the UCD stop at 6:20 despite everyone's hand out? With that being the first bus in 20 minutes? Unacceptable

PhD researchers are protesting because stipends are set at the poverty line. Not even minimum wage. €18,500 a year.
"EU-Average PhD researcher pay is €32,100, and in Nordic countries pay starts at €50,000 and progresses to €55,000 on a fixed four-year contract"

PhD students have formed a new union and its members – especially those from outside the EU – say they are hoping for a fairer future. Jovan Jeromela and Alok Debnath say they didn’t understand the extent of inequality in the Irish system before they came.
