Sciammas &co: IRF4 expression links TCR signal strength to T helper cell fate determination | Higher IRF4 expression promotes Teff cell fate at the expense of Tfh cell fate https://t.co/sSzOoh48jK
It's been a while since I've tweeted, but for a long time, I've wanted to draw some attention to what, for a few years, I've called 'long CMV'. I'll share my n=1 story to raise awareness that 'long COVID' probably happens after MANY acute viral infections, including CMV.
Check out our recent @J_Immunol publication investigating the cell division-coupled reprogramming events of IRF4 and it's impact on cell growth / proliferation during B cell differentiation.
BIG thanks to @jmboss12@cdscharer@jimrose835 Kania and Price!
