✨ "Featuring Future: Pathfinders of Digital Art" ✨
Lumen X Sotheby's

This collection, curated by @AurondaScalera and @CuratorView, showcases 14 pioneering digital artists, including past Lumen finalists and winners. Many of these artists are debuting on-chain works for the first time, exploring themes such as human-machine collaboration, digital identity, and algorithmic beauty.
Proceeds from the auction will help fund the 2025 Lumen Prize, which fosters innovation and supports emerging voices in tech-driven art.

Celebrating the Lumen Artists shaping art and technology
Today, we’re honouring the women in the Lumen community who inspire us daily, artists whose practices span AI, immersive environments, bio-art, speculative design, sound, performance, film, gaming, robotics, and data.
Many are also educators, collaborators, mentors, and researchers, shaping the field not only through what they make, but through how knowledge is shared and sustained.
Today is about recognition, but also about continuity. Visibility matters and so does long-term support, access, and care.
We’re grateful to be building a community where these practices are seen, valued, and celebrated, today, and well beyond it.

Congratulations to our dear friends at @Kunstsilo on receiving the prestigious @PrixVersailles World Title for the World's Most Beautiful Museum, announced at @UNESCO headquarters in Paris last week.
"The Lumen Prize has been proud to partner with Kunstsilo since 2020, first joining forces to recognize exceptional Nordic artists through The Lumen Prize Nordic Award. Hosting our 2025 Awards Ceremony in their beautifully transformed grain silo last month was an honour, and I know our team and global community share my gratitude for the warmth and care we experienced there." - Gillian Leitten, CEO, Lumen Prize
Our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Maria Mediaas Jørstad, @TorillHaugen, and the entire @Kunstsilo team.

3 Weeks to Go
In just under three weeks, @Kunstsilo's outer building will be transformed by @Lab212’s site-specific installation 'Growing'. The work will transform both the building’s facade and The Silo Hall into a responsive ecosystem - animated by live environmental data and the unruly behaviours of invasive species. A living meditation on expansion, imbalance, and adaptation in the Anthropocene.
Created by 2015 Lumen Prize Winners @Lab212, Growing blurs the boundary between organism and architecture, reminding us that growth always comes with consequence.
