If you go through Governor Kang’ata’s account, you won’t scroll three times before finding a project being launched, completed or delivered to the people.
Then look at the social media accounts of some governors from the Coast, North Eastern and Nyanza. You’ll mostly find posts of them in meetings, meeting Ruto, meeting county officials, attending meetings, holding meetings and having more meetings. Everything except visible development.
They all receive devolution funds. The difference is what they choose to do with them. One chooses to put the money into projects that people can see and benefit from; others seem more interested in politics and personal enrichment.
Are you seeing this Messi off-ball movement masterclass ? The positions he is ghosting into are so dangerous. Moving smartly without the ball more than moving with the ball via dribbling now.
This Messi-Ronaldo conversation can not be about football 'cos there's nothing to compare. The people who choose Ronaldo over Messi can't do so over football. It's an individual thing. They like the person Ronaldo, his looks, physique, work ethics and style but definitely not over football.

@baroswahjr Attacking while defending... Very rare to find such midfielders. Serikal leta maendeleo siasa tutapiga baadaye... Kidogo kidogo campaign ikifika... "Na ii serikali si ni vizuri iende nyumbani"
@SeanDOlfc Palace would break the lines from their build up so many times... I wondered whether Liverpool were playing with 10 men at times in that 2nd half.
Safaricom handled the M-Pesa app transition badly, and there’s no way around that. No proper communication before the switch, diaspora users locked out without warning, and the app is still shaky. That’s not how you migrate millions of people onto a new platform.
There was no urgency here. Nothing that made this a now-or-never situation. Running the old app alongside the new one until things were stable would have been the sensible thing to do. Instead, users were just expected to figure it out.
But beyond the rollout, there’s a bigger issue. M-Pesa requiring a Safaricom SIM is a limitation that the product has outgrown. If the ambition is to compete globally, that model doesn’t work. PayPal doesn’t care what network you’re on. M-Pesa shouldn’t either.
Making M-Pesa network-agnostic is the obvious next step. It opens the door to wider adoption, makes life easier for diaspora users, and positions it as a serious international payment platform rather than a Kenyan telco product that happens to work abroad. That’s the direction this should be going.
The rise of armed militias threatens to plunge Kenya into a failed state.
On the Southern Bypass, in Kikuyu Town, Kitale Town and in Kisumu City, we have watched as militias have attacked unarmed civilians , with lukewarm response from the security forces.
The days of this violent regime are numbered.
Let’s register and vote to send this regime to Kamiti @UGMParty #ChukuaKura
Maybe this would be another way to show other people other leaders who are not popular but can perform wonders. In his segment @HonKangata even mentions working with @NdindiNyoro when he was still MP of Kiharu Constituency.
Governor is doing what the electrorate mandated him to do. Everyone there is happy...and No apa hakuna handouts...Its work and salamu kwa wananchi hapa kule as he launches road and market upgrades.....
He did an interview in @kameme101 on his journey into leadership...
Another podcast program should arrange a good objective view of good leaders and their impact in the previous 10 - 20 years we need such exposure now that our traditional media is always after popular individuals and theatrics rather than solid people out here...
