@BAL_Os_funk@relishdaddy The guy has had not even a full season of good results, has had multiple injuries, and had an ERA over 6.50 for most of the season…but it will be Elias fault if he isn’t extended beyond his actual value?
Elias has a ton to be blamed for but not sure I fully understand this one
Hey @InstacartHelp why are you so incredibly bad? Pushed a delivery back 2.5 hours, been on hold for 45 min, been on chat for over an hour. Order hasn’t been picked but you won’t let me cancel it until I talk to someone, then keep me on hold until my order starts getting picked..

The fact that he can be hitting .260/.359/.480/.839 over his past THIRTY games and his season stat line is still only .217/.294/.361/.655 tells you everything you need to know about Mullins
A beloved Oriole who is two completely different players multiple periods of a season
Not sure there is any reason for any of us to show up to games or watch them on tv. It’s just the worst version of baseball by a team that has been below league average for two full calendar years. No soul, no fight. A sickness, deep within.
Clean everyone out, including players
@FraudElias I agree on both accounts, but Bradish does not look consistent and he is 29 with two more years of control. If you convince him to extend maybe 3 more years, fine. But he thinks he is a $25m or more guy, and he isn’t that right this moment. Hope it changes, O’s need him badly
The O’s can’t strip everything down, despite needing to
Move the rental pieces and hope for an impact player or two in return but they have no chance of competing next year if they trade Adley, Bradish, Helsley or Gunnar
They can only address 3-5 holes per offseason
My dream deadline if we sell:
Ward + others to Mariners for Hancock
Rogers + others to Cubs for any of their infield prospects (most are a year away at most)
Then in the offseason, ask the Giants what it would take to acquire Webb and overpay that by 200%
@FraudElias Yeah I think the two catcher thing is def the way to go with this current group. Basallo doesn’t seem like a long term catcher and despite Adley’s injury history, there is a good chance he performs well “for a catcher”, so I think you bite the bullet there.
Not sold on Bradish..
@FraudElias Oh if we are talking “should”, then I think we should enter a mini rebuild where we trade everyone not named Basallo.
But it won’t happen, and Gunnar is not valuable right now
The O’s are probably 8 players and a new coaching staff away from competing.
Also, I don’t think the FO moves away from Albernaz this season, or next season
There is a very real and very dumb belief in baseball that managers don’t have an impact on the team and while that is wrong, it often saves managers jobs
They won’t pay him to sit at home

I say they let Elias do the draft and then fire him and hope they have someone on deck who is aggressive at the deadline
Have to operate as if there is going to be baseball next year even though I feel we may not play a single game
CBA ends 12/1…gotta do a ton of biz before 👍
@SJonNantucket@PigTownSports@DillonTAtkinson@EutawStReport Bradfield can’t seem to stay healthy and has a .690 OPS and Kjerstad has a .691 OPS. Both are below average.
Do I think then could be worse than most of what we have seen this year? No. But it’s not like anyone has been beating down the door, unfortunately
@d_jr24@e23plumer@JasonLaCanfora He’d have to spend 12 hours a day tweeting if he ever addressed how many times he has been wrong lol. He just yaps incessantly hoping that one of the 50 things he says turns out to be remotely correct
@Johnnyjimmyj@YeahImOldaf Oh I don’t doubt there are horrible creeps on both sides of the aisle. But back to the sentiment at hand: most of those names are people who identify as straight…despite all the uproar that gay and trans people and people in drag are grooming kids at baseball games
