YEMEN WAR LESSONS: in 1962, Egypt President Gamal Abdel Nasser jumped into Yemen Civil War, sent 70,000 Egyptian troops to Yemen under command of his trusted # 2: Field Marshal Abdel Hakim Amer: Egypt not only lost war with Yemen but war with Israel too in 1967! It was ‘Egypt’s Vietnam’! Best would be for Muslim countries to seek rapprochement & reconciliation between warring parties in Yemen, as quest for a military solution in Yemen has proved futile since 2014, since war in Yemen is unwinnable!
