Today we’re introducing the Yuma Total Market Fund. One allocation to access $TAO and the full Bittensor subnet ecosystem.
AI exposure is expanding beyond public equities and venture.
The @mentatminds team is exactly right, and it's why we built the Yuma Composite Index, YCX.
Sum of Subnets is an unweighted total of Bittensor subnets: any single subnet can move it. Over the past 30 days SoS rose 7.5% while YCX rose only 0.6%.
The gap is almost entirely two subnets: SN40 (0.16% of network market cap) up 555%, and SN116 (0.39% of market cap) up 253%, both moving on thin liquidity.
YCX is market-cap weighted so no single illiquid subnet can swing the whole index, the same way a microcap tripling doesn't move the NASDAQ composite.
The @TWA_News take on the Bittensor, bittensor:native, and subnet opportunity:
"What I keep coming back to is the gap this actually closes. Wealth managers have spent two years telling clients they missed the early AI trade, or that the only way in now is through the same seven stocks everyone else already owns. Yuma's pitch is that the trade isn't over, it's just been happening somewhere most of the industry hasn't been looking."

We estimate that 9% of subnet token value is held in strategies that MUST remain liquid, regardless of the Conviction upgrade's incentives, and could grow to 60%.
This requirement means it is not feasible to lock these subnet tokens, affecting a majority of subnet token value if Bittensor follows the trends of other markets as they mature.

We are pleased to announce that Trishool (SN23) has been officially accepted into the Claude Partner Network by Anthropic.
This marks a major milestone in our commercial growth. As an AI security startup, we provide more than infrastructure. We deliver expert advisory and consulting services that help enterprises deploy frontier AI safely and at scale. That commitment is what earned us this partnership.
The timing couldn’t be better better. Enterprises are rapidly deploying Claude in production environments, and production-grade AI requires a robust security layer. That is exactly where Halo, our battle-tested guard model, comes in.
Claude Partner status gives us the credibility, visibility, and network access needed to position Halo at the center of serious enterprise AI deployments.
We're here to unpack every major change and development in the Bittensor ecosystem.
On the latest episode of Carrot and Stick with @taodotcom, Yuma COO @GSchvey weighs in on the Conviction upgrade's tradeoffs, including the powerful signal locking alpha can send.

"You start to realize: if you can incentivize and commoditize it, you can build it on Bittensor."

How does the approach to AI regulation differ from what we've seen to date with crypto?
Yuma VP of Legal Adam Sternbach explains on the latest episode of Block & Order.
App, custody, and institutional users on @cryptocom can now stake both $TAO and subnet tokens through Yuma's validators, enabling access to @bittensor ecosystem yield for the trading platform's 150M+ global audience.

Last week at the @YumaGroup Summit I had the opportunity to present on The State of Bittensor.
That presentation is in the thread below. If you choose to read it, I'd ask that you keep the following three things in mind:
1. This is just one guy's view of what was the most relevant for a 25-minute talk; a difficult filter for such a dynamic industry
2. The slides were designed to supplement a talk; I've done my best to replicate what I recall of the talk in the accompanying X posts
3. The topic of the Summit was "The Tipping Point" - a candid assessment of what could lead to Bittensor's breakout success and what evidence we see of that today - which also thematically anchored this presentation
Let's dive in:
Fantastic to spend time with many of the leaders in the Bittensor $TAO community at Yuma's first ever summit. The vibes, enthusiasm and camaraderie reminded me of DCG's first Summit in 2015

Truly an inspirational group. Big things are happening
For the second time, we brought our partners in the Bittensor community together at the @dcgco Summit to dive deep into Bittensor $TAO. A lot of momentum in the ecosystem and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
Truly amazing how far the crypto industry has come since the first DCG Summit in 2015. My favorite stat:
2015 crypto market cap: $7,000,000,000
2026 crypto market cap: $2,600,000,000,000
Who do you recognize in the 2015 pic below?
Our ninth DCG Summit is a wrap, the largest to date. Three days in Spain with 250+ of the greatest founders and leaders from across 5 continents, building the future of digital assets. The strength of our community is unbeatable.
BitGo has partnered with @YumaGroup to deliver an institutional-grade solution for Bittensor Subnet Tokens.
Clients can stake and trade subnet tokens within a single platform, managing exposure to the Bittensor ecosystem within the security of a qualified custodian alongside a leader in non-custodial $TAO staking since 2024.
