NOBODY NEEDS TO CONCENTRATE
Concentration is needed only when you have distractions.
Distractions happen because you haven’t got the frame right.
The frame is just 4 questions but if you get the answers wrong, you’re so screwed.
1. Who am I ?
2. Who am I with ?
3. What are we doing together ?
4. Is the environment supportive or not ?
Consider a startup founder who gets overwhelmed and distracted and then seeks to learn yoga to concentrate.
Because he has heard of the legendary powers of yogis to manifest something into existence by just concentrating on it long enough.
Let’s apply the frame after drinking a tall glass of honesty.
Who is he? A startup founder who doesn’t have enough knowledge.
Who is he with? A team of sub optimal performers who don’t learn anything new just like him.
What are they doing together? passing the buck and feeling frustrated.
Is the environment supportive of what they’re doing? Yes it is . It’s a disorganised environment.
The moment he reads this he will understand why he can’t concentrate.
No amount of yoga or anything can help him till he fixes the frame.
When he corrects it the frame look like this.
Who am I? Startup founder who has to learn a lot about hiring the right people and setting the right frame.
Who am I with? Nobody of worth right now but looking for people who will add value.
What are we doing together? Learning to make ridiculous profits nothing less will be tolerated.
Is the environment supportive ? Not yet, but I need to get organised and know what we lack and what we have.
Now I wouldn't have to teach him to concentrate because he can already concentrate. He can already see what's wrong and he will automatically concentrate on fixing it.
Stop concentrating, it's only for people who are fighting distractions that have crept in due to the wrong frame.

Deadlines? Tight. Team vibes? Tense. Stakeholders? Breathing fire.
Team A said: “Ship fast.”
Team B said: “Fix the foundation.”
And Product? “Do both, obviously.”
Welcome to leadership — where every decision offends someone 😅
I tried pushing harder.
Guess what? More meetings. More friction. Zero momentum.
Then I flipped the script.
Paused the sprint.
Told everyone, “No tickets, no updates — just talk.”
Turns out, no one was blocked by code.
They were blocked by fear.
Fear of blame. Fear of burnout. Fear of not being heard.
Once we cleared that air?
🔥 Alignment. Ownership. Flow.
We shipped a week late — but with twice the impact and zero resentment.
Here’s what I learned 👇
Clarity kills chaos.
Listening unblocks faster than escalation.
Leadership = holding the energy steady while everyone else storms.
You don’t fix teams with sprints.
You fix them with safety.
So, tell me — how do you lead when everything starts breaking loose?
How to win at life (no guru needed):
Walk more. Scroll less.
Give value. Expect nothing.
Stack cash. Kill debt.
Speak less. Observe more.
Build things. Don’t just binge them.
Simple. Savage. Effective.
@SpeakerShinjini In fact I did. But there were some good moments and great learnings too. What you focus on grows. So I choose to give my energy to the bright moments.
